Update: As it turns out, my beloved used the last of the honey ages ago without telling me, so there wasn't any when I went to get it for my soap batch today. Oh, well. At least the soap looks pretty. Creamy ivory colored, in its USPS Flat Rate mold (and some overflow that I quickly dumped into an Apple mouse box that I lined weeks ago and forgot about). We'll see how it works. If it works.
A similar batch (only similar: no scent or colorant, as per usual, but this time to the soybean and coconut oil, I added 15% castor oil as well) that I made Monday was finally ready to unmold today. Sort of. The outside of it was a bit oily, and the soap is less opaque than I'm used to seeing. Is this from the castor oil, which I've never used before, or...? I don't even know what else it might be. Oh, well. It passed the zap test, so it'll be soap when it's done.
