Teach Soap

Here is my recipe, please someone tell me if it's ok to proceed:

Trying to make a 2 pound batch with the following ingredients:

111 grams of lye
210 to 315 ml of water (I would need to convert that to grams, right?)
56 grams of castor oil
112 grams of castor oil
56 grams of hazelnut
560 grams of olive oil
56 grams of shea butter

You have castor down twice. I think one is supposed to be coconut, right?
Yes, it will be better if you convert the liquid to grams as well.

With water that conversion is easy. 210-315 mL of water is the same as 210-315 g of water. This is the ONLY thing that has a direct 1:1 mL to g. Coincidentally 1mL water = 1g water = 1cm^3 (cubic cm) of water.

@ljm1180 - yes, one is supposed to be coconut, the 112 gram one. Thank you for pointing that out!!

Heather, just so you can be aware.... 1gm of urine also converts to 1 ml! That is how we used to keep the output on our babies...weigh the diaper before putting on baby and weigh after baby went! Isn't that neat???
