Teach Soap

My husband made me a really great wood mold that easily comes apart with wing nuts and he also gave me a neat idea to try lining it(after watching me struggle with measuring and trimming). I tried the method that A-M does as well which would really be great for those molds that don't come apart.

I took my ends out and wrapped them like present, nice and neat and only one end had to be folded in! Then before I put he ends back in I cut the piece for the middle section but instead of measuring it I made it big enough to go past the ends...no need for measuring on this method. It worked really well and I had nice crisp corners on my soap. When it came time to unmold I simply loosened the nuts a little, moved the ends away and lifted out my soap!

I found this vid. a while ago, its kind of long to watch, but, this is the easiest way that I have found to line my molds.
