Teach Soap

My normal bars are about 4 ounces each (after curing for a couple of months). What size/weight are typical guest bars?
Also, I use log-shaped molds......do you use a log-mold for the guest bars also, just smaller dimensions?

I cut my normal sized bars in half so they are about 2 ozs. I use a log mold.

I have a little oval guest silcone mold. The soaps come out weighing 0.75 to 1 oz depending on how full each little cup gets.

I had two sitting on my kitchen counter (waiting to be wrapped) so I weighed them.... both came out at 0.81oz. I ususally use the scrapings from the soap bowl to fill these little soaps so they are not always up to the top of the mold. I know in the past many will just hit that 1 oz mark. I love this mold as it does allow me to scrape that batter bowl clean!
