Ok this is going to sound very stupid but can you heat up your oils in a microwave? Sorry but I am very new to this. and I always see the videos with the oils in the pyrex measuring cups...I am only making a very small batch.

Thank you so much Pomseed for all your help and information...It really helped . However I did ( because I didn't have a stainless steel pot) So I ended up microwaving them. And I made my very first batch of soap today!!! Well in individual bar molds because I had to test colors.

Also Hesty thank you, I felt more confident using the microwave after you replying. Thank you.

If it wasn't for this site and soap queen tv I would never of had the courage to try this. Now I hope they look the same way when they are cured as they do now!
