Two things: One, whats the challenge Coolah? Hehehe, ready to go!!

Two: More technical question! Will adding glycerin to CP make it soft? My energy batch is still soft after 2 days, full gel, and sodium lactate. The only thing I can think of is the glycerin I used in the colours. I use glycerin because I can never remember which pigments/micas are water soluble and which are oil soluble!

Oh yeah, the recipe was:

Olive oil 35%
Palm oil 30%
Coconut oil 20%
Mango butter 5%
Shea butter 5%
Castor oil 5%

2oz sodium lactate
2oz energy FO

8% SF, no water discount, soaped at 105-110*F. Its in a crafter's choice silicone loaf mold, was insulated and definitely gelled.

The mold killed my soap :cry: I can get a few good bars still, but... wahhhh! At least I can see a preview of what will be inside! But still! Darn mold!!!!!!!

I've had that happen a few times with batches that only partially gelled. Even though I left it in the mold for a couple of days AND put it in the freezer, that still happened. :x

Didn't freeze it. Think I need to mineral oil my mold, soap always sticks in the corners! Need hubby's dad to cut a dowel so I can hot glue it to my new soap cutter... try and cut this tomorrow. The inside (from looking at the broken corners) looks AWESOME!

Yep! Cutting it into 3 or 4 big pieces then cutting those horizontally. I should still get a bunch of nice bars, and just a couple icky ones.

Oh wow! That energy soap is beautiful! I thought those silicone molds would be less likely to stick like that! I am working up courage to try my first batch of CP soap. I hope one day I can make something as fabulous as that!
