And what a sweet little boy. Just found out today a good co-worker and friend is expecting! Yeh!!!! Looks like I will be doing a goats milk castile in the next few weeks! Wish I had more baby soap molds!

Thank you all for your advice here. But this may sound stupid nut isn't a soap made with castille or olive oil have to be made with lye, or does anyone have a recipe for me exactly on how to make the soap with just olive oil or soap with castille in it? TIA Dana

Since you are new to soap making, MP base might be the best way to go. I believe it will come out of molds easier than CP too. I have years and hundreds of CP batches behind me and IMHO I would not recommend learning with "Baby Soap". Also CP is wonderful for skin when made right, but is NOT tear free. I hear the current trend is for washing new born babies with only water anyway.
