This is my second attempt at CP soapmaking. It was a basic recipe with the addition of Bamboo FO. When I cut the bars it has a reddish outer layer and a creamy off white center. No zap. You can see in the picture when I cut it a piece of the reddish layer broke off. Is this OK?? Will it all turn the reddish brown??

And.....
My Castile soap is hard to the touch on top but the mold still feels warm. Should I unmold or leave alone for awhile??

It's possible that it's from the FO and the soap will eventually turn all of that color. Castille should be cut as soon as you can. If you wait too long it will be too hard and crumbly when you go cut it.
