Teach Soap

I've been making CP soap for a few months now and would like to try goat's milk instead of water. Having never attempted this before, I was wondering if most people use fresh goat's milk, canned goat's milk, or goat's milk powder. And is there a difference in the final product, depending on what form of goat's milk you begin with?

I use fresh goat's milk (straight from the goat to the bottle to me), but if I run out, I sometimes use the goat's milk I can buy at the supermarket. I can get fresh (in the cold section) and long life (off the shelf). Both as pasteurized though, which I'm not sure if it makes any difference. I don't notice any to the eye - but it may take away some of the goodness...
