I've just read that to 1000gms of oil that you can put between 30-50grms of EO, is that correct? seems way too much to me.

I think it can depend on the EO, but from what I've seen a 30-60g range is acceptable for 1000g of oil, depending. Brambleberry has an awesome fragrance calculator that I always use to double check my usage.

I have a question about the BB fragrance calc. It asks how much you are making. Does that mean oil being used or total weight with distilled water and lye? Where as the MMS calculates by weight of oils.

I would go by weight of oils since some people discount their water.

I've just had a look at BB fragrance calculator and it says that 6 teaspoons = 30grams, I've just weighed 6 teaspoons of EVOO and its only 17grams on my scale ( couldnt afford to experimernt with EO) Are our teaspoons the same as yours in america as I'm sure grams should be the same.

In the US we have what's called measuring spoons. They are usually plastic. I find them not very accurate for B&B products. They are fine for baking though. Different oils have different mollecular weight, so they won't all weigh the same.

Had a look at my EO,,,,10ml, 8 euro here in greece, thourght it said 3.4floz but is 0.34floz,,,big difference and its sweet orange (nothing too extravagant) cant afford to spend 25e on 12 bars of soap. Any suggestions? Does BB deliver to Crete Greece?

Sweet orange oil will fade in soap. I would send an email to BrambleBerry and ask if they ship to Greece.
