Teach Soap

Dog, definitely. Cats are REALLY annoying to tooth-brush. And extra wiggly! The way their muscles are attached they almost slide against one another, making cats physically harder to hold on to! I brush my dogs' teeth sometimes, tried each of the cats a couple times and will never try again. Check out the pet dental section at petsmart or petco, they have some nice no-brush stuff there! I like the water additive idea for cats, and it works pretty well too!

You can also brush their teeth by using a wet washcloth over you index finger to rub baking soda over their teeth and gums. Sometimes that's easier than trying to use a toothbrush.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Or get a finger brush, from the pet store or the baby section, same thing. This is what I use when I do brush the cats teeth. Or for small dogs. My Border collie has an oral-B toothbrush I got from my dentist LOL
