Ok I am wondering what is the curing time for hot process soap? Some people say it takes 3 months or more? Why does cold process take less to cure?
Correct me if I am wrong about this,but the hot process soap is when the oils and lye have to be the same temp and cold process it doesnt matter what the temps are with oils and lye? When I make soap I let the lye cool down to 110-100 before I pour it into the oils that have already melted and cooled down also.

I use 3 to 4 weeks depends on how much liquid I used in the batch. You need the bar to release it's extra moisture and become hard or the bar will not have a good length of life!

Whether HP or CP, the longer you wait, the better the soap will become, the more water will evaporate and last longer in your shower.
