Teach Soap

Hi! I'm new to the forum and pretty new to soaping. I've only done a couple of batches so far. I look forward to learning tons from everyone here!
My question is about using colorants. Since some colors are mixed with oil (such as pigments), am I supposed to decrease the amount of oil I use at the start of the recipe and then add the rest of the oil with the colorant in it at trace? And would this also apply to using natural colorants infused in oil?
I was just worried that using the amount of oil called for in the recipe and then adding the oil/colorant mixture would overly superfat and perhaps make the bar softer.
I'm really sorry if this has already been addressed. I tried to search before posting and didn't find anything.

Welcome!
The amount of oil in mixed pigments would be small, so no need to add that to your recipe as oil.
For infused oils, I would include this oil into the calculations of your recipe.
