Teach Soap

This is a repost from yesterday (the forum ate my post!), so if you already responded, I didn't see it.

Anyhow, I made a batch of soap but it's plain (I had to re-stir all three layers together when it began separating in the molds). I was thinking of melting the last bit of melt and pour (white) and scenting it with a non discoloring vanilla and some ground cinnamon and pouring it over each individual bar like icing. The soap is still really soft so I wanted to wait a few days. I'm just not sure if it will work. Does anyone have tips or suggestions for me? Thank you!

I've only used MP for swirling in CP, but I've seen MP drizzled over the top of CP. Be careful with the cinnamon. It could be scratchy and/or irritate the skin.

OOh, good tip! I didn't think of that! I wonder what else I can use....the soap is so light (like a buttery-orange color) that I want something darker...maybe I'll just use my buttercream FO that *does* discolor. Buttercream and Pumpkin Spice...I wonder how that would taste..I mean, smell?

You could always lightly sprinkle some darker mica on top.
