HARDCORE HP HERE!!!

I have been able to crochet since childhood... a long long time. But even though I'm not very good at knitting I find it more relaxing. I could use some more practice but this darn soaping seems to have taken over!

Funny this topic popped up because i wanted to give HP soaping a try this weekend. I am a CP'er but have tried many of the other methods, so far my nemesis seems to be liquid soap , I think i lack the patience to see it all the way through.

I was thinking of starting with a really basic and small batch in my crock pot (35% OO, 30% PO, 30% CO, 5% Castor with 5% SF), I have a couple of questions, when doing this type of soap how would you split the batch to color part of it? also what is the best point to add scent? I don't know if i have ever even seen an HP bar of soap in person so i am really shooting from the hip here.

One last thing just to be sure, it still needs to cure right? But the cure time is shorter, would a week suffice?

If i manage to come up with something i will try to post pics.

This is a Cold Processed Hot Processed soap. I share Dave and Linda's thoughts on this we do not look down upon hot processed soap. I just did two batches learned from youtube. I don't often make the HP.

Mella - both are great looking soaps. The top one reminds me of sea glass, and the 2nd I love the color and the texture on the top. Thanks for sharing.... someday I will decide to try this.
