Teach Soap

Can someone please help me i'm wanting to make HP soap i have a craft fair coming up and know time to make CP soap . Is it hard can someone please tell me how to make it . Or where i can read up on it

Don't take this the wrong BUT you really should not sell something that you don't know in and out and upside down,as far as HP being hard or not that depends on the persons experience with making soap of any kind,if your very familiar with CP then HP will be no problem,but you need to research everything you can find GOOGLE a HOT PROCESS TUTORIAL there are many.

I totally agree with Carolyn thoughts on this.

"You really should not sell something that you don't know in and out and upside down". You shouldn't sell anything that isn't tried and true as there are penalties and liabilities involved in what you sell. There are plenty of lye horror stories out there.

If you are in that much of a hurry for the holidays I'd stick to M and P soaps, or start making soap in July.

All CP soap needs a cure time depending on the type of cure and the recipe. HP soaps also need a cure time even though they can be neutralized during the cook.

In the future for your HP soaps there are dozens and dozens of videos on youtube that you can educate your self with. Also many fabulous books to help guide you along!

You can read about it here, but unless the soap has AT LEAST a couple of weeks, it won't be ready for your show.
