Teach Soap

I had a lady at my last show ask if I had glycerin soap. I said do you mean clear soap? She said yes. I told her that all real soap contains glycerin as a byproduct of the soap making process. And to do that with CP Id have to add alcohol to it. Maybe she was looking for MP. That day it was 92 degrees and I didn't see any MP at the show. She didn't buy any soap. Do any of you do that to CP? I can't think it would improve the soap. Any thoughts on this?

Sounds like she was looking for MP soap. I've had people ask me for glycerin soap and that's what they meant. For markets here in hot Palm Springs I use a cooler filled with frozen gel ice. I only keep minimum of MP soaps on the table.

OK, so do any of you add alcohol to your CP to make it clear? I think there are some clear soaps on the market that are not MP. There is one with a common brand name but I can't think of it right now. Does Nutragina make it?

Linda you can add glycerin to m and p and make it a different clear soap also. SQueen say 2 T to 4 oz for the jeelly rolls! I've tried it at less and it works well for me. YMMV!
