Teach Soap

Hello,

I want to use White Tea and Ginger FO (a Brambleberry scent) for a column swirl type soap. I've used it before in a 2 swirl soap and it did not accelerate trace. I get it from soapcraft who rates it a 2 out of 4 for trace.

Also using a 3 oil recipe, do you think this FO will work with a 6-7 colour swirl?

I don't usually use temperatures when I soap as I just wait for both my lye/water and oils to come to room temperature but thinking I will soap this at around 90 degrees.

I've used it with a two color swirl with no problems. Go for it!

I used a combination of White tea Ginger and Cucumber Melon for this "gutter" soap. Both were from BB. The colorant was BB's lab colors--neon yellow. It did great and smells wonderful.

That's a pretty yellow!

Thanks! It was a very well behaved FO. I used water as the liquid and my temps were a little on the cool side--I had two gutter drains to fill and I didn't want it to get thick before I had them both poured and swirled. The neon yellow lab color is pretty strong and it really doesn't take much at all to get a bright color. Good luck using the White tea ginger--the smell changes a little but it still smells great.
