I have both and would like to make shaving soap for Fathers Day, I have never used either before for my shaving soap but like them both in other soaps. Have any of you used them for shaving soaps, and did they have a nice slip? Thanks.

You can use either one to add more slip.

Since the green clay, especially if it is French Green clay, costs more, I would use the Kaolin, but you can use either. The green clay makes very nice masks, so be sure to treat yourself to one before or after you make your shaving soap! :D

I will go with the Kaolin Clay for the shaving soap, and give myself a treat and try a mask! Thank you both!
