ok, good to know...I learned another new thing! I knew you should use grams for 1 lb. batches but thought using ounces would be ok for 2lbs. I'll use grams on my next batch...gotta get out of my comfort zone, lol. My scale doesn't show decimal points when set in grams...so just want to make sure I'm doing this right: always round UP no matter what # comes after the decimal point for oils/butters? For example...recipe calls for 299.371 grams OO..I would measure 300 grams?

I would say anything below 2 lbs. you should do in grams. 2 lbs and above should be fine in ozs. My scale measures to 0.00 ozs.

Actually I like that fact that soap calc gives me both. But what about the 2# batches? For those I use oz, but change over if doing a 1# or smaller trial batch. Any concerns with that?
