Teach Soap

Hi I have been sitting in the background reading posts ect and gathering information but, I have found very little on hand painting your soaps. I am an Artist living in the UK and would love to personalise my gift soaps to friends and family. I dont sell any of my soaps as I know about the regulations etc and at the moment its one of my many hobbies. I just wondered what medium I should paint with. Dye, specialist soap paints ????? I really can't wait to try. Ive made a few successful blocks of soap and Im impressed with the smoothness and hardness of the bars, not to mention smell.

There is such a thing as soap paints, but I don't know where you could purchase them outside of the US.

I've never used them, but I did stumble upon this site tonight... http://www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/s ... 6_122.html According to their shipping policies, they do ship outside the US, but you have to sign some sort of waiver. It sounds like a bit of a hassle, but who knows, maybe it is worth it! I thought I would pass it along anyway... Good luck!

Have you done a search on this site? There are quite a number of threads about 'soap painting', and there is a recipe you can use to make your own soap paints.
