I'm just fascinated about how many different ways you can do swirling! This time I came across this nice looking swirl soap online and now the question marks would not leave me until I figure this out, please help!

Looks like a swirl in a slab mold. It's best done at a barely emulsified soap, before trace.

I've actually done that once. Here's the thing, I don't know how I did it and haven't been able to repeat it. I love the "happy accidents" until I want to do it again, and can't, bums me out every time.

I showed this to my grandma (85 years old, no internet, taught me how to soap) and she said she has, and I quote, "played around with a coat hanger and a lot of time and got something kind of like this"
She's a funny lady, full of advice, wanted or otherwise

Maybe contact the artist and see if she will share her secret? Just a thought.

Another good tool for swirling (and I gotten some of those cool accidents) is a chop stick. I use that more than anything now.

OK Cat you have this going thru my head and all night too!

I think it was two pots, in the pot swirl, on the left just a touch of color and on the right a bit more color. Both pots or pyres cups poured at the same time starting at one end of the mold and continuing to the other all in one pour.

I don't know haven't tried it but this is a really pretty soap.
