Do you use clays in your soaps?

For slippage in a shaving soap, or bar?

Is an oxide the same as a clay?

Can a bit of clay be used for a line in a soap like the beautiful black line in that lovely recent yellow bar?

Oh woke up with so many questions. My soaps are resting/curing/ looking pretty/ so my mind is congering! I should be vacuuming! LOL

Clays work the best in shaving soaps. Oxides do not have the same qualities as clay. You can use clay as a thin line in your soaps. Just make sure it's very thin, so the soap adheres to the clay.
