Well I've had a grand time doing my first batch of crock pot mini batch soap, 1 lb! When I put a wisk thru the batch to verify that all was saponified, I got no white bits, but to be sure I left if a few more minutes in the crock pot. After adding color, didn't take, and fragrance too light, I molded the soap. It had almost turned to stiff mash potatoes, but molded just fine. It was very soft when I unmolded it 24 hrs later, too soft to even do a soap stamp the first day, but developed nicely on days 2 and 3!
When I cut it I found 3 small white small curd cottage cheezy looking spots. Darn I tested the spots and sure enough the chemical I used turned a bright pink, bad news.

Questions follow please pick one and give me a helping hand if you have any ideas! LOL Thanks guys
1. Is this soap safe for me to use, I wouldn't sell it with a few unsaponified bits.
2. I soaped at 137 deg for oils and 117 for lye,

I think this was wrong, but I was afraid to let the oil cool more for fear of having to reheat the lye which I didn't want to reheat.
3. Although the fragrance is light, the soap has a peculiar scent to it, like maybe burnt or curdled. Is that possible?
I did purchase the Soap Makers Companion and just received it so I'm studying to keep the questions down! HAHAHA ha Thanks everyone for taking the time to consider these questions.
