Has anyone used the cpop method with peppermint & rosemary EO? Can you use this method with these EOs together? Thanks.

Hi SpottedCat: I had good luck using CPOP in soap where I used peppermint, lavender, rosemary lemongrass in a 4:1:1:1 ratio. Hubby had used peppermint soap in a hotel and asked if I could make some, so I tried this combo out. He's delighted, and today after his shower, I noticed a pleasant peppermint scent in the downstairs area where the shower is. I'll definitely make some more and probably do it without CPOP for comparison. The colder method seems to be working well for me with some of the EOs especially; but thus far, the peppermint is holding up - made 1 month ago today. It will be interesting to see what others can tell us about peppermint.

Hi scents,

That's good to know that it will hold up in cpop. I've been trying that method out now & liking it. I'm still having some problems with the non-gelling. I seem to be getting a partial gel even putting them in the freezer. But, I do like the feel of the bars. I'm using a partial gelled one now & love the feel of it.

I might try it regular & insulate it - now that summer is here I might be able to get away with doing it that way. Thanks Vinca.

Good to hear Magic. I'll stick with the cpop method for the peppermint/rosemary. I like the idea that it cures faster.
