I didn't have any color and wanted to experiment so I melted a 1/2 crayon and added to a layered top. Is this wrong? Will this mess up my soap? Any thoughts?

That's fine if it's for you, but not for something you will sell. There is no way to know what exactly is in that crayon. How would you list it on your ingredient list?

No, I don't ever plan to sell. I do this as I have a pretty stressful job and it helps me with the insomnia I have. I am actually thinking of donating the bars to a local home for recovering battered women. I am also thinking of doing some workshops with them to make lotions and bath bombs but really don't want to front all the $$ for fo's and oils and such. But I will cross that bridge when I get to it!

If you donate your bars to this shelter you will be liable. Keep the bars with the crayons just for yourself. :)
