Teach Soap

Hi,
I used my soaps after 3 weeks and they made my skin flakey. I though it might be the eo and used my unscented soap but it was the same.
I used a couple of recipes and I didn't use coconut more than 26%. I feel so disappointed and have no idea what went wrong
They don't make my skin very dry but it's flakey (It's not flakey and dry on my face though)
I bought some of my oils from grocery and some from some well known oil workshops.
I used olive, coconut, palm, castor and sweet almond
Any idea?

My first guess would be that mabye your soap is lye heavy. Did you put your tounge on a bar to see if it tingles? If so don't use it.

I would give it another couple weeks. It's amazing how much a little time can cure...

I would reformulate your recipe so there is no more than 20% coconut.

That darn coconut oil is a mystery isn't it? I have read so many articles saying that coconut can be drying, yet the same people will make a 100% coconut oil bar and love it! Go figure!
