Teach Soap

Thank you for all the support and advise. The show went fairly well. I really didn't know what to expect. I was told that a good show was 10x your booth fee. I did 5x so I guess that was a little discouraging. I had two soapers about 5 booths from me. One soaper didn't do well at all. She said she barely covered her booth fee, not sure about the other. It was fun.

5x your booth fee is not bad. The longer you do it, the more people get to know you, the more repeat business you'll get.

I agree that 5x is not bad at all. The 10x usually happens around the holidays. Spring shows seem to be the "worst" return for me but they slowly pick up during the summer heading into fall. Now having said that, I just had my 2nd best show ever last weekend. Sometimes you just can't figure!

And by the way, my favorite question I often get is " what part of the goat do you use in goatmilk soap?"

Thanks for the support. I do very well at work with my co-workers during the holidays. Many return customers there.

5x is good. My booth this past weekend, not so well. Booth fee was $45 and total sales was $75. I was a little disappointed because I had heard it was a really good show. I am not turned off by it and will probably do their 2 day show in the fall.
