Teach Soap

I have tried the search with no luck. I tried every which way and not one recipe . So I hope someone could help me to find a salt bar recipe. Please, anyone?

I made one batch of salt soap and used 90% coconut, 10% castor and then the same amount in weight of salt. I know some people do 80% salt. Mix the salt in at trace and pour quickly, because it does set up very fast.

Take your normal soap recipe and add salt to it. I usually do 50% of salt or less. Do a small test batch to see how it works. Also if you are going to do non gel method it's easier to do it in a divider mold otherwise you have to cut it right away and I find salt soap harder to cut.

It was the 2nd recipe of MP I ever made, the instructions are clear. No "guessing".

Make sure you cut the soap when it's still soft or that you use moulds because it'll be VERY crumbly otherwise.

Your recipe has to have a high amount of coconut oil so that it will lather.
