Teach Soap

I can picture you stirring like a crazed monkey! I am pretty lucky. My hubby helps me soap, so if we split batches (to swirl, etc.) we each have one to work.

But (don't tell him that I told you this), he sometimes drives me crazy because he will not waste ONE DROP of soap! So, if there is more than enough to fill the mold, he puts the excess in a small silicone mold with pumpkin shapes (I figured this out to keep him happy...). They usually come out kind of funky looking, so they are not anything that I could offer to customers. I consider myself pretty lucky that he is willing to help me, though! I have asthma and can't mix up the lye water myself.
