Does anyone know if you have to spray alcohol on CP soap if you want to put colored stripes on it (useing just traced CP with a piping bag)? I use to cake decorate so I thought I could do some fancy striping on already unmolded and cut soap. Maybe somthing cool for the holidays.

That sounds like a really interesting idea - but I don't know if it would stick well. I've never tried it.

I've seen CP soap with whipped soaps a la Nizzy that seemed to stick. http://nizzymoulds.com/Whipped/index.htm

good point, soapbuddy. I'd forgotten about the Nizzy soap.

Linda, I'd certainly be interested to see your experiments. The petit fours sound adorable.

Im making ALOT of soap right now ( 2 good craft shows and a new gift shop wiped me out. So Im gonna do a little exparimenting here in the next few weeks. I think if I wright on the soaps with soap I'll have to give that 3 or 4 weeks to dry as well. Then can I put my normal lable on it or must I sell them naked? If this goes well I'll post pictures.
