Teach Soap

Hi everyone,
I'd like to know is there particular soap oils qualities for different skin types?
for example for dry skin soap the condition should be between a particular
range (beside the eo used), so when I'm making a soap for dry skin (carrot)
and run my oils in calculator I know what condition i need to get and the same
for oily and normal skin type.
am I making sense to you?

I would try upping your superfat instead.

I think I agree with soapbuddy. LOL. A recent batch with 8% superfat is definitely more conditioning than the other recipes I've used (ranging between 5-6%). Who knows!? Maybe 10% will be heaven for the skin.

I currently use MMS lye calculator for my recipes. It seems to be the best one for me. My question is: I think with those calculations the % excess fat is the superfat, correct? If so, soapbuddy, are use suggesting going up to 6,7, or 8% to get more moisterizing qualities? If I do that, would I use the 3% usage for my Sodium Lactate to harden the bar more?
