Can silicone bakeware be used as a primary mold to pour CP soaps into? Seems like they would work well since they're flexible. Just wondering if they are ok to use. Thanks!

Yes, yes and yes. I use silicone muffin pans for my small bathces. You can get some lovely designs, roses, daisies, tulips etc.

I have used silicone as well but do not use the red ones. I don't know why but the red transfers to your soap. Ask me how I know. Does make it easy to get it out but I had to leave it in the mold a tad longer than when I use my wood molds. It wants to stick to the sides.

Have you tried the red Wilton silicone pans? I have use the red Wilton with no problem.

The red ones do bleed. I washed mine with a paste of baking soda and water and that seemed to help.

I LOVE silicone pans!
I've used the ice cube trays for cute little star and heart shaped guest/sample soaps.

I've never had a problem with the red bleeding. I've bought all of mine used though, I wonder if that makes a difference

I use a red silicone tray. I haven't had any bleeding of color, though. It is kitchen-aid brand that I got at a bargain store.
