Hello everybody!! I've been making soap for almost ten years now and I've never had separation occur. I made a batch of goat's milk soap 2 days ago. Everything was going fine until I put fragrance samples in. As soon as I put them in the soap curdled. I know the fragrances are the culprits here. Anyway, now my square mold is sitting there with a pool of oil on top. I read on miller's soap making site that almost any soap can be saved. Is this true?? I am thinking about trying to rebatch it using the oven method mentioned on that site. Will it really work, or is this batch too far gone?? I would hate to waste all those wonderful ingredients!!!

You could try to rebatch, but were the fragrance samples soap safe?

I have had great luck with the giant ziplock baggie rebatch technique this week....and believe me...I've repeated it about six times now (due to operator error!)
