It's this newbie again.

I put my soap directly in the fridge to avoid gelling. It's been 36+ hours now and my soap is cold and firm.

Will it be easier to cut into bars if I take it out of the fridge and let the soap reach room temperature before unmolding and cutting into bars?

Thank you

Marilyn - KentuckyWoman

I would let them warm up a bit before cutting. :D

I prefer not to gel. My soaps go in the fridge or the freezer. I let them come to room temp before cutting. Be aware that ungelled soap can take up to three days to saponify, so cut the soap with gloves on.
