I would like to try it but I do not have Palm Kernel oil. Could I leave that out and add Apricot Kernel oil instead?

Your soap would be softer...I haven't seen that recipe. Do you have a harder oil you could sub for the Palm Kernel? Make the switch, run it through a calc, and then see how it goes!
