Who would have thought, I went and got a stick blender and it worked great for about 2 or 3 minutes then died! So back to the store I go in search of a better one, I pretty much had a trace by the time it died and made Coffee and Cocoa powder soap, of course I think I added to much cocoa, how much do you guys add? And I tried half frozen milk and half water, and it worked pretty good, did not get as orange and clotted.

Wow! That is the worst record for a stick blender that I have ever heard of!
If you are convinced about the need to use one, I'd invest in a really good one from a restaraunt supply.

On the other hand - I use a cheapie one but I take breaks - on a min. off a min. on a min. off a min. Somewhat like your other post about stick blenders. I've had it quite a while. ( I also use a drill with a squirrel mixer for my large batches.)
