Just wanted to share results of a batch of Egg Nogg soap that I made prior to Thanksgiving and tried over Christmas. First of all....I hope all of you had a pleasant Holiday and spent it with loved ones.

I made the batch just as I would with goat's milk but instead used Egg Nogg straight from the container from the local grocery store. Used my standard recipe and scented with cranberry-almond (one of my favorites). While it made a very nice and creamy soap....it made a better shampoo. I know that egg & beer additives to soap make for nice shampoo bars.

I'll start earlier next year and make several batches of this stuff and probably scent it with mulberry or aspen pine....or some other holiday scent and give them as gifts.
