Teach Soap

I need some direction when using TD in CP soap . Is it best to dissolve it with distilled water or oil? When I've used oil I still have small white particles despite stirring and stirring it. It dissolves beautifully with distilled water but I've had 2 batches that have a very strange texture...pattern. I don't think that its ricing but its not desirable that's for sure.
Advise please as to what to use, when to use and how much to use... thanks so much

TD will give you the crackled look if you gel. If you don't gel, it shouldn't happen.

There was an interesting Eden's Secret video on YouTube on this. She thinks it's more a mixing problem. I think it's probably a combination of excess heat and insufficient stirring but need to experiment some more.

Wanted to add that certain TD's are oils soluble and some are water soluble. Some are both. Do you know which type you have?
