New fragrance. Accelerated trace, ricing, started to gel as I was glopping it into the mold. It went through raging hot gel so I elevated it. It didn't overheat. Just unmolded and it had lye pockets throughout and a pool of lye on the bottom. :( In the trash it goes.

Hrm, perhaps some candles for my Mom then. I used to buy her two carnations every month (allowance day!) just to show her that I love her and appreciate her. I think she'd like candles that reminded her of those flowers!

I made a soap batch with aloe today and had no problems. The gremlins left.
