Teach Soap

Looking for a silicone liner for my mold. I have the 3 lb wooden mold from Soap Making Resource. Have googled silicone liners with no luck Not sure when to get them.

Unless you make one or have one made for you, you probably won't have much luck. There are so many different sizes of the same pound molds, each company making a their own version, that you'd really need to get it from them (or make it yourself). There are silicone molds for sale on various sites, but they are stand alone molds, not liners as far as I have seen.
To make a liner you can buy those cutting (sheets) boards at the dollar store, they come 2 to a pack, and fold and cut. They work pretty well, I have a done a few. You can also use some type of corrugated board stuff from Lowes and there is a thread on that from about a year and a half ago. I can't remember who made it, but it turned out great and was inexpensive. Pictures and comments are in the history, so take a peek!

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I thought the acrylic molds from SMR don't have to be lined? Is that not true? (just curious because I've thought of buying one) Or would you just prefer the ease of the silicone liner? Also worth noting that BB now makes a liner for their 2lb wooden mold. Hrrrrmmmm.
