Ok while I was reading about diffrent oils and butters in the use of makeing soap a couple sites added honey as well as beeswax to the list noteing that they arnt oils but still good additives.
My question is I read somewhere that honey can superheat your mixture ( reaction to the sugar if I understood it right) but is good for your skin and antiseptic I think is the word they used (forgive me if its not)
Is honey something that is worth adding to a bar for people with skin problems such as dry , acne prone, eczema or scoriasis ect ? If so how do you help keep the heat down? Do you mix in a ice bath the way you can with goatmilk soaps to keep the heat down?
Sorry for all the questions post. I look thru the site but so far havent found posts answering some of my questions yet
THank you
