what does "flashpoint" mean?

I was on BB looking at their lavender fragrance oil. In the description it cautioned users of the flash point of 179.2 degrees. What does that mean? Does it mean you can't mixed it in the oil above that temperature?

Always learn something new daily about soap. lol

What that means to me that if you add it at the flash point or above, it will "flash" off or evaporate into the air.

This is directly from Anne-Marie on one of her tutorials
Flashpoint is the temperature at which a pure, not mixed or diluted fragrance oil will combust or burst into flames when given an open flame. With CPOP soap, there is no open flame and the fragrance oil has been diluted by over 95% by your soap mixture.

The flashpoint is also why most FOs must be shipped ground only and not by air.
